Brooks and Groton played 10 scoreless innings in the rain before Groton finally broke through for a 2-1 win. Brooks' Jason Buco of Methuen pitched nine innings, giving up no runs on three hits and six strikeouts. Nick Potter (third base) and Matt Geremia (shortstop) made huge play after huge play to keep the game scoreless.
