Pentucket falls short

No. 8 Pentucket fell to No. 9 Winchester 2-1 in the  first round of the Division 1 North field hockey tourney yesterday afternoon.

Hannah Wilkins scored the lone Pentucket  (11-4-5) goal 5:48 into the second half on an assist from Shannon Beaton. Mel Coffin scored both of Winchester's goals, the second with less than five minutes remaining in the second half.
