Sara Gaeta took a deflection off the goalie and buried the ball into the net with 18 minutes left in the game to give No. 12 Georgetown a 1-0 upset victory over No. 5 Tewksbury in the first round of the Division 2 North tourney.

Sara Gaeta scored twice in the second half to rally Georgetown field hockey past Ipswich, 3-2. The junior now has 17 goals, second most in the CAL. Jessie Eenoncour (goal), Kailey Donovan and Lauren Hanlon also shined.

Sara Gaeta scored twice in the last three minutes of the game, including with 48 seconds left, to lift the Georgetown field hockey team to s 4-4 tie with Masconomet. Gaeta also had an assist for the Royals (6-4-3) and Kristen Pingree added two glaos and an assist.

North Andover's field hockey team continued to impress during its 3-0 win against Georgetown. Amanda Foote dominated the field for the Knights, Gabby Moen had a goal and an assist and Meg Foster had her sixth shutout of the season.

Kristen Pingree scored on a rebound with five seconds left as Georgetown earned the 1-1 field hockey tie with Pentucket.

Sara Gaeta erupted for three goals as Georgetown field hockey opened with a 5-0 win over North Reading.
