Haverhill Hillies Boys Swimming '13-'14

Pannos pushes on

The Andover boys took seventh and Central Catholic eighth at the Massachusetts Division 1 Boys Swimming Championships yesterday.
Central's Will Pannos enjoyed a solid performance. He took fourth overall in the 200 yard IM with a 1:56.88 clocking. Andover's Eric Shi was 9th in that event at 1:59.55.
Pannos later came back to score a fifth in the 100 fly at 52.91. North Andover's Frank Zhou was ninth in 54.92. 
Andover's top effort was a fourth by Vince Camin in the 100 breaststroke, stopping the timer at 59.17.
Pannos' Raider teammate Andrew Carbone earned a sixth in the 100 back at 53.64.
Haverhill's Sam Clough took ninth in the diving with 362.75 points.

Locals shine at MVC swim

Central Catholic's Will Pannos and Drew Carbone, Andover's Vince Camin and Haverhill's Matt Amodeo and Sam Clough all took home individual titles at the Merrimack Valley Conference Swim and Diving Championships yesterday.
 
Chelmsford dominated the meet to take the team title by nearly 100 points over second-place Andover.

Driscoll cousins dominate

The Driscoll cousins of Haverhill led the Hillies to a 94-82 victory over North Andover in boys swimming.

Sean Driscoll won the 200 IM and 100 breastroke while Josh Driscoll won the 100 butterflyand 100 backstroke.

Matt Amedeo was a quadruple winner and Sam Clough, Sean Driscoll and Liam Frieswick were all part of three wins as Haverhill downed Pinkerton 91-77.
