Veronica Alois scored four goals, but Andover unfortunately lost to second-seeded Masconomet 13-8 in the Division 1 North semi-finals. Chiara Holton had five saves, and Brooke Lenes tallied a goal and an assist. The Warriors finished the season at 13-9 overall. 

Brooke Lenes scored a whopping seven goals to led Andover over Beverly 19-10 in the first round of the Division 1 North girls tourney.

Jordan Torres scored a season-high six goals, including the overtime winner just a minute into the extra frame to give Andover the win over Billerica. Veronica Alois added five goals for the Warriors as well.

On a night where Abbie Karalis scored goal number 200 of her career, North Andover defeated Andover to clinch the MVC large division. Michelle Porier and Julia Morandi each had four goals for the Knights.

The Andover girls lacrosse team jumped all over No. 13 ranked Billerica to win 15-9. Veronica Alois scored six goals and Jordan Torres added four.

Michelle Poirier scored four goals and Emma Johns and Abbie Cronin led a defense which gave up just one second-half goal as North Andover whipped Andover 15-4. 

METHUEN — Score round one to the younger sibling.

In their first meeting as head coaches, Cat Gross' Andover girls lacrosse team picked up a 15-5 win over Methuen, who is coached by Cat's older sister Briana, in yesterday's meeting at Methuen High.

Andover took a two goal lead into halftime over No. 8 ranked Franklin but couldn't hold on in the second half, losing 11-10 in a non-conference matchup. Veronica Alois and Darsie Peterson each had three goals in the loss.

Veronica Alois had four goals and an assist and Gabby Vaccaro made 10 saves to lead Andover girls lacrosse to an 8-6 win over Chelmsford.
