Vimary Vega cleared the bases with an inside the park grand slam in what was a 10-run fourth inning for Lawrence. The Lancers also got four RBI's from Brianna Rivera who had a triple, double and two singles.

In a 7-1 win over Lawrence, Haverhill's Bryana Michitson threw a 1-hitter with 13 Ks, Michaela Kane homered and drove in four runs and Jadyne Hill went 3 for 3.

ANDOVER — After a clutch win against MVC rival Haverhill, the Andover girls made it two in a row with a 16-3 win over Lawrence (3-12) in five innings.

The victory puts the Golden Warriors back at an even .500 (6-6) for the season, and gives the team a little more momentum heading into a week where they will face four MVC opponents. For the time being however, coach Steve Tisbert and his squad are happy to put the team's previous four-game losing streak farther behind them.

Krystal Morales had a 2 for 2 day while driving in a pair of runs to lead Lawrence to a victory over Malden. She is now 6 for 6 in the team's last two games with a total of three doubles and four RBI's. Taylor Alakel threw five innings of no-hit ball and struck out two for the Lancers on Wednesday.

Brianna Rivera blasted a two-run homer in the sixth, then drove home another run in the seventh as Lawrence cut a seven-run deficit to one. But the Lancers would get no closer and fell to Tewksbury 9-8.

Bella Jankowski was 3 for 5 with 4 runs scored and 4 RBIs and Haley Andrade and Alexa Plentzas belted home runs as Central crushed Lawrence 22-3. Plentzas had five RBIs on the day for the Raiders (7-1), one more than Andrade.

Krystal Morales connected on a two-run home run and a solo homer as Lawrence crushed Somerville 19-10.

Lawrence belted four homers against Everett, two by Brianna Rivera. Krystal Morales was a triple shy of the cycle, andd Vimary Vega hit a pair of doubles in the 12-4 win.

Red-hot Meg Hartnett, who was also the winning pitcher, was 4 for 5 and had three RBIs as Andover pounded Lawrence 14-5. The Warriors (3-0) have now scored 41 runs in their first three games.

Kat LeFebre blasted a three-run homer in the first inning to fuel Methuen's softball team to an 8-2 victory over Lawrence.
