METHUEN — The Central Catholic High football team dominated the Methuen High Rangers from start to finish en route to a 35-14 win before 2,100 fans at Nicholson Field last night.

Central got huge performances from several players, including and especially sophomore quarterback Michael Milano, who rushed for 103 yards, threw for 101 yards, while running for two TDs and throwing for two more.

He got some help as his running tandem of Santino Brancato (13-122) and D'Andre Drummond-Mayire (7-93) combined for over 200 yards rushing.

Central led 28-0 at the half and fought off a mini-challenge in the second half by Methuen High, which got fine performances from backup quarterback Mike Baglieri, who combined for 145 yards passing and running in the third and fourth quarters. Junior defensive end Sam Weeks also had 11 tackles to lead Methuen.
