With the game scoreless heading into the sixth inning, Matt Varoutsos singled, advanced to third on an error and scored on a wild pitch to give North Andover the lead, then pinch runner William Marcotte scored on a Chris Bosco single to give the Scarlet Knights a two-run advantage. Methuen cut the lead to one, but Brendan Parisotto came on to slam the door with a strikeout to lock down a 2-1 win.
