It took overtime, but in the extra frame Ryane Farrell found Kate Blaisdell who put home the game-winner to give Windham (10-1) the thrilling, 1-0, win over upset-minded Sanborn (3-5-1).
Sanborn coach Vicki Parady Guay said, "It was a great effort. We played a great game. Ali Gannon (9 saves) did a super job and Amy Eacho was all over the field, too."
