Kelly Burke tallied her third hat trick of the season, and assisted on the final goal, as No. 11 Georgetown exploded for three goals in the second half to down No. 6 Winchester 4-1 in the Division 2 North first round.
"We've been struggling with offense all season," said Royals coach Nichole Turcotte. "So this is a big momentum boost for us."
Hannah Birnie added the final goal while Emily Messelaar chipped in an assist. Karen O'Hare made nine saves for the winners. Georgetown travels to face Lynnfield on Friday at 2:30 p.m.
