Whittier/Amesbury in finals

Amesbury-Whittier scored a goal in every period (the last an empty-netter) to defeat the host team, 3-1, in the Haverhill Christmas Tournament. Whittier's Connor Stevens scored twice and Austin Toohey had a goal and an assist. Amesbury-Whittier will play in the finals 7 p.m. Friday against Stoneham.
