Pelham ends winless

AMHERST — Pelham actually led 8-7 after a quarter but when once-beaten Souhegan got rolling there was no stopping the Sabers en route to a 52-14 romp.

 Although it was a long year for the Pythons (0-8), Ryan Demers put up all-star numbers. He had four catches for 92 yards and the first-quarter 49-yard connection from Trevor Gagnon.

Souhegan runs past Sanborn

Sanborn tried to maintain their winning momentum heading into their matchup with Souhegan Saturday afternoon. The Sabers, however, ran past Sanborn in an impressive 455 yard rushing display.

The Indians were coming off a 31-7 win against Conval last week, but could not stop the Souhegan ground attack.
