Hoop for Thibodeau

Windham co-captain Eric Thibodeau tore his Achilles in the first quarter of the Jags' season opener, ending his season. But he came back Thursday in a very limited role. He started the game against West and the visitors left him open so he could swish a long jump shot then return to the bench. Windham returned the favor and West scored at the other end.

Sophomore Matthew Logue scored a career-high 17 points and Windham whipped Timberlane, 65-34. The Jags outscored the Owls 19-3 in the fourth.

Desmarais the hero

Riley Desmarais drained a 3-pointer with 11.3 seconds left to give Windham a 49-48 lead and the Jaguars went on to beat Hanover, 50-48. Desmarais led WHS with 13 points. Senior manager Scott DaSilva got his first varsity action with the start for Windham.
