Kayla Riley continued her outstanding season, firing a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts, while rapping three hits with three RBIs as Whittier remained unbeaten (8-0) with a 13-1 rout of Essex Tech. 

Whittier's unbeaten softball team whipped Ipswich 13-3 to improve to 7-0. Sophomore Eliza Slocum was a highligh for the Wildcats, who also won 12-0 Thursday, going 2 for 2 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Kayla Riley struck out 17 batters and Kaley Thibault drove home Michaela Martin for the go-ahead run in the fifth to give Whittier a 3-2 victory over Notre Dame.

Whittier softball improved to 3-0 as junior Ashley Wilson slugged two home runs and had five RBIs and freshman Kaley Thibault had a solo homer in a 15-2 rout of Greater Lowell. Kayla Riley threw a 3-0 hitter for the Wildcats, striking out 11, for the win.

Whittier Tech's Kayle Hobbs and Kayley Thibault both had two hits and scored twice as the Wildcats won their second game, routing Hamilton-Wenham 15-1.
