EXETER — Coming into this season, Windham goalie Julia Peet already had two state titles under her belt, but didn't play a part in either as she watched from the bench.

On Thursday, however, she stood tall in net and carried her team back to the promised land.

For the fourth straight year, the Windham girls lacrosse team will be playing in the state title game. The Jaguars beat Winnacunnet 22-7 on Saturday in the Division 2 semifinal, with Ali Connors and Abigail Lagos leading the way with 5 goals each. Windham will go for its third title in four years on Tuesday when they face Hanover in the championship game.

The Windham girls lacrosse team rolled over Timberlane, taking a 14-0 lead at halftime en route to a convincing 19-2 win. Ali Connors had 6 goals and an assist, Emma Lindquist had 2 goals and 4 assists and Courtney Sweeny had 4 assists for the Jaguars.

Windham (14-1) bounced back from Wednesday's loss by downing Portsmouth 14-9. Ali Connors had five goals and Lexi Lewis three and Julia Peet stopped 13 Clipper shots.

Sam Crichton, Annie MacLeod and Courtney Sweeny all had three goals as Windham remained unbeaten in girls lacrosse with a 14-7 victory over Winnacunnet.

Lexie Lewis scored six goals and Ali Connors scored five times as Windham rolled over Keene 19-3.

Ali Connors had five goals and four assists and Windham roughed up Goffstown 21-9. Emma Lindquist also had five goals.
