NORTH ANDOVER — Ryan Bessette was clear: North Andover wanted another shot at Boston Latin. 

The Scarlet Knights only mustered three hits in last year's shocking 4-3 loss to Boston Latin in the first round of the Divison 2 tournament, but in Monday's quarterfinal matchup they belted out 18 in an 11-4 pounding of the Wolfpack. 

Brendan Parisotto was in total control for North Andover on Thursday, allowing one hit while striking out 10 over five shutout innings to lead the Scarlet Knights to a 10-0 first round win over Revere. Parisotto also went 2 for 4 with two runs and two RBIs, and Joey Kramer went 3 for 4 with three RBIs and a run.

Brendan Parisotto threw a 5-hitter with two RBI and Joe Bramanti and Trevor Ham also drove in two runs each as North Andover blanked Chelmsford 6-0.

North Andover saved all of its offense for extra innings. Brendan Parisotto had a basses-clearing triple and Mitch McQuate blasted his second homerun of the game to spark an eight-run eighth inning for the Scarlet Knights.

Brendan Parisotto pitched another gem on the mound for North Andover, throwing five shutout innings while striking out five. He also helped out his own cause by driving in a team-high four runs.

Will Berberich threw a four-hitter and North Andover blanked Methuen, 4-0. Joe Bramanti and Ryan Bessette each drove in a pair.

Brendan Parisotto became the first 5-game winner in the region, four-hitting Lawrence as MVC-leading North Andover improved to 9-1 with an 8-4 win. Parisotto carried a two-hit shutout into the seventh, before he got knicked up a bit. He fanned five.

Will Berberich went the distance on a two-hitter with six strikeouts and no walks as North Andover trimmed Haverhill 2-1. Brendan Parisotto and Trevor Ham had first-inning RBIs in the win.

Brendan Parisotto and the North Andover baseball team apparently couldn't wait to start the season. In Saturday's opener, Parisotto went to the mound and threw a no-hitte, striking out 11, and also went 3 for 5 with two RBIs and three runs scored in a 13-0 romp over Arlington. Joe Bramanti and Trevor Ham also had three hits as the Knights banged out 18 hits overall.
