Janci Soto recorded 11 kills and Michael Jackson added 40 assists as Lawrence clinched the MVC Division 1 title with a 25-21, 25-21, 25-19 win over Chelmsford. The Lions entered the match at 18-1, and the victory made both squads 18-2.

The Lawrence boys volleyball squad kept it rolling in a three-game sweep of Billerica, lead by 12 kills from Janci Soto and 7 aces from Kevin Vanderhorst. The Lancers host Chelmsford on Monday at 6 p.m. for their regular season finale to determine first place in the MVC. Both teams only have one loss in conference. 

Lawrence rebounded from its first loss of the season with a sweep of Central Catholic. Janci Soto led the Lancers with 13 kills and two blocks.

After 10 straight victories, the Lawrence volleyball team dropped its first match of the season, 3-1 to Chelmsford. Janci Soto led the Lancers (10-1) with 15 kills, 3 blocks and 17 service points.

Sitting at a perfect 10-0, it took Lawrence the minimum amount of games to qualify for the Division 1 North playoffs. The Lancers latest win over Billerica featured an 11 kill performance from Janci Soto who also served up six aces.

Lawrence volleyball swept Methuen behind the play of Janci Soto (11 kills, 3 aces), David Garcia (14 kills) and Kevin Vanderhorst (21 service points).
